Angel Tree 2012

Making Christmas

Merry and Bright

Our annual Angel Tree Ministry will kick off in November. Angel Tree is our annual holiday ministry project providing gifts to area families in need. Volunteers are needed to help organize and carry out the project. In addition to gifts, we collect gift cards for grocery stores like Kroger and Publix as well as Wal-Mart. If you want to provide a gift card we ask they be in $25 increments. Those can be turned in to a staff member anytime. If you would like to join the Angel Tree team contact the church office.

Save your Coats for the Annual Coat Drive

The church will be collecting clean gently used coats of all sizes during the month of November. The coats are donated to the Lawrenceville First Baptist Clothing Mission where

they are distributed to those most in need in our area. Any surplus coats are then given to those in the Atlanta area. Help us keep others warm this winter. Collection boxes will be in the Narthex and Education Wing.

Wrapping Our Friends in Prayer

Attention crocheters and knitters get those hands busy by making prayer shawls to share with anyone needing a reminder that God is with them during a difficult time. Using your favorite material and pattern and neutral colors make them at least six feet long. All completed shawls can be brought to the office or given to a staff member.
