Second Grade Bible Presentation
October 8
We are looking forward to presenting our second-grade students with a lovely hardcover Bible for their faith formation journey. The Bible presented is written at a third-grade reading level so it is easy for the younger students to read and grasp the meaning. Equipping our children with the tools they need to learn about God and His love is an important role of our congregation. Bibles will be given out on Sunday, October 8 at both services. Please contact Diane Thomas or the front office if you have a second-grade student ready to receive a Bible.

Save All Your Dates

Community Sunday
September 24
Ever wonder who attends the service you do not attend? Well, it is about time you found out. On Sunday, September 24, 2023, Christ the Lord Lutheran Church will join the two services together for our first Community Sunday. We will all be together at 10:00 a.m. that day.
This Community Sunday will feature a barbecue cookoff and potluck side dishes. We are seeking 4 to 5 teams/individuals to prepare their favorite barbecue. The entries will be judged and a trophy will be presented. Pr. Brad seems to think he will win, so let's show him some Southern hospitality by demonstrating how it's done.
Help is needed to set up, provide side dishes, and clean up. Contact Kelli Robinson or use the link below to let us know how you would like to participate.
